Mary Lee LaBay

Biography
Mary Lee LaBay, Ph.D., is the author of six books on hypnotherapy, past life regression, self-hypnosis, strategies of personal philosophy, and relationships. Her books Past Life Regression: A Guide for Practitioners and Hypnotherapy: A Client-Centered Approach are widely used as textbooks on those subjects, while her Through the Open Door: Secrets of Self-Hypnosis is a self-help guide for the general public (co-authored with Kevin Hogan, Ph.D.). Also co-authored with Dr. Hogan, were The Hypnotherapy Handbook and Irresistible Attraction: Secrets of Personal Magnetism which went to #2 on the Amazon bestseller list in 2002 and has been translated into several foreign languages.

Her most recent book, Exploring Past Lives: Your Soul's Quest for Consciousness, brings substantial, ground-breaking knowledge and experience to the general public on the topics of past life regression, experiences between lives, death experiences, making better choices for future lives, and so much more. It is due for publication in Spring of 2008.

Mary Lee received her Ph.D. in Behavioral Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Integrative Health Sciences. She acquired the levels of Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Certified Instructor of Hypnotherapy, and maintains a private practice in Bellevue, Washington. In addition to her work with individuals, she leads certification courses in hypnotherapy, past life regression, and transpersonal discovery. She is an approved Continuing Education provider by Washington Mental Health Counselors Association and the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.

Mary Lee was named in the Top 100 Thought Leaders of 2007-2008 by Personal Excellence, a nationally distributed magazine.

An inspired presenter with a holistic approach to healing, Mary Lee has been a student, practitioner and instructor of spiritual growth for over 20 years. She leads workshops across the US, as well as in India, Europe and Great Britain. Mary Lee is considered an expert in the fields of hypnosis and spirituality by the national media and has been published extensively in magazines nationwide

She is the founder of Awareness Engineering, was the founding President of the Lake Washington Chapter of the NGH, and is a Washington State Registered Hypnotherapist. She is the 2008 Secretary for the NGH - Washington Chapter.  Mary Lee is a past and/or present member of: Mensa International, National Guild of Hypnotists (US), International Registry of Professional Hypnotherapists (UK), International Hypnosis Federation (US), Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy (UK), The National Council of Hypnotherapy (UK), International Association of Research and Regression Therapists(US), and American Board of Hypnotherapy (US).
